80-year old Jack McKeon is the new manager of the Florida Marlins.
McKeon will be announced as the new Marlins skipper at a press conference on Monday afternoon.
Edwin Rodriguez resigned as Marlins manager on Sunday morning with the team in the midst of a 1-18 skid.
McKeon originally retired from baseball in 2005 after a three-year stint with the Marlins that included an NL Manager of the Year award and a World Series championship in 2003.
The 80-year old has a career record of 1011-940 in 15 seasons as a major league manager.
McKeon becomes the oldest manager in baseball. Philadelphia Phillies manager Charlie Manuel is now the second oldest manager in baseball at 67-years old.
