Tylers Hamilton might lose 2004 Gold Medal

The International Olympic Committee could take Tyler Hamilton’s Gold Medal. A top IOC official told The Associated Press that the IOC could strip Hamilton of his 2004 medal following his admission of doping.

The IOC is planning on investigating his statements of admission – by watching his “60 Minutes” interview.

IOC vice president Thomas Bach, who heads most of the IOC’s doping investigations, told the AP: “if there is any need or possibility to take action we will do it.”
