Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall is in intensive care after being stabbed during a domestic dispute Friday night in Miami.
League sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter that Marshall underwent surgery for a stab wound and is expected to make a full recover in two to three weeks. None of Marshall’s vital organs were pierced.
According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, Marshall’s wife was arrested last night on charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
“This is a very difficult time for Brandon and family, thankfully he will make a full recovery,” Marshall’s agents, Kennard McGuire and Harvey Steinberg, said in a statement. “We simply ask that his privacy is respected.”
