Kansas City linebacker Mike Vrabel was arrested and charged with theft.
This story was reported by the Associated Press. According to the AP, the three-time Super Bowl winner was arrested at 5:30 a.m. and charged with a class D felony.
Vrabel issued a statement, saying it was “an unfortunate misunderstanding, and I take full responsibility for the miscommunication.”
Vrabel is a member of the NFLPA executive committee and one of the plaintiffs in the players’ antitrust lawsuit against the NFL.
