SEC Football is having a terrible offseason. Saturday, Florida cornerback Janoris Jenkins was charged with marijuana possession.
His third arrest since 2009, the second time this year.
And the second time this year for marijuana charges.
The Associated Press reports an officer found the 22-year-old sitting in a parked car, smoking a “blunt” or marijuana cigar. Police charged him with possession of marijuana less than 20 grams. A misdemeanor in Florida.
He was released after signing a notice to appear in court May 12.
The university was not immediately available for comment on Saturday.
