Good news for Green Bay Packers fans. The Packers signed A.J. Hawk again today, one day after he was released. The deal is rumored to be a five-year, $36 million dollar contract with incentives and bonuses.
It was first reported on Twitter by Jason LaCanfora.
Hawks agent, Mike McCartney, told the Associated Press he and the Packers were close to a deal that will bring the linebacker back to Green Bay one day after the team released him. Saying in an e-mail to the AP that the sides were “putting the finishing touches” on the agreement.
Turns our the finishing touches have just been completed.
