Four seasons later, 69 losses later, Louisiana Tech has fired men’s basketball coach Kerry Rupp.
The Athletics finished in last-place in the Western Athletic Conference this season.
The school announced Rupp’s dismissal and decided to buy-out the final year of his five-year contract.
Athletic Director Bruce Van De Velde and a search committee will start the search as soon as possible. Any hire must be approved by the University of Louisiana System’s board of supervisors, according to the Associated Press..
