When junior Kansas State outfielder Nick Martini digs in for his first at bat again Baylor this weekend he will be attempting to reach base for the 80th consecutive game.
According to the Associated Press, the NCAA doesn’t track consecutive games on base but if you check with Kansas State, they say the record is 86 games, set by Elon’s Cory Harrilchak during the 2008-09 seasons.
