A new twist in the NFL labor dispute.
A Cleveland Browns fan has sued the NFL, and its teams, over the player lockout.
Ken Lanci, the fan and “self-made millionaire” that ran for a seat on the county government in Cleveland, is claiming it’s a breach of his contract to buy tickets through his personal seat license.
Some NFL teams are preparing for upset fans.
The New York Giants and Jets, Carolina Panthers and Buffalo Bills have already made adjustments to their season ticket sales – Cleveland hasn’t changed it’s options yet.
The Panthers took a creative approach and added a fourth payment option for fans. It allows for a 10-percent down payment and the other 90-percent due upon the signing of a new labor agreement.
Ken Lanci is trying to get around $25,000 from the Browns and another $25,000 from the NFL. He’s claiming a breach of contract and contract interference.
