Where Are They Now? (4/16)

On the Mend: Former OSU pitchers Mark McLemore and Dallas Buck are on the DL for their respective teams. McLemore is with Triple-A Round Rock, has yet to throw a pitch this season. Buck is recovering from Tommy John’s and last I had heard has moved onto long toss.

As a "team"…: The Beaver pitchers have thrown 52.67 innings, have a 4-2 record and seven saves. 44 strikeouts match up with 25 walks and 46 hits. The staff has a 3.08 ERA along with a .225 average against.

The Beaver fielders have 15 doubles, two triples and eight homers. As a whole they have struck out 71 times but plated 52 runs and 50 RBI. The squad is hitting .261, a .376 slugging percentage and a .340 on base percentage. Beaver speedsters are combined seven-for-nine stealing bases.

Getting Close: Andrew Baldwin seems to have been moved into the Rainiers rotation in this past week while Barden has been spending most of his time at shortstop for the RedBirds.

Three High A Leagues: Darwin Barney has been up and down in the Cubs lineup, moving between one-and-nine in the past few games. Mitch Canham is beginning to cool down a little bit, while after a poor performance Jonah Nickerson has earned his first win for the Flying Tigers. Tyler Graham is playing exceptionally well while Chris Kunda has found the bench in Tampa. Kevin Gunderson is throwing well in the Pelicans bullpen and may not be in Myrtle Beach for long.

SS Darwin Barney (Chicago Cubs), Daytona Cubs (6-6); Class A Advanced

A-Ballers: Mike Lissman has begun to swing a hot back for the overly hot Kane County Cougars. Joe Paterson and Daniel Turpen have been getting their innings in Augusta and it seems that Turpen may be transitioning into becoming a closer.

  1. Great Update! Thanks!

Quite a list, looks like we could field our own team, every position is covered!

  2. Kunda was designated to the minors (moved) but they haven’t found a team for him yet. At least that’s what I heard.

That’s why you can’t find him anywhere.

  3. Great piece. Are you going to keep it up.I like the combined stats of our boys.

    Ruth

  4. The plan is to post once a week with updated stats and such. I have a spreadsheet that figures everything out for me, some of the ERA’s are messed up a bit because it has trouble recognizing for IP, 3.1 or 5.2 for example. As long as it continues not to be a giant hassle each night to fill it out, it will be updated. I am a college kid though so school first.

  5. GREAT LIST! Thank you so much! I’m tired of trying to keep track of this myself. Thank you for giving me somewhere to go for all of this
